Arrival – Transfer to Kigali hotel

Kigali – City tour, transfer to Volcanoes National Park. Approx. 3 hours

You will be picked by our guide from Kigali hotel and head for a Kigali city tour visiting Genocide memorial ground where over 25000 bodies of victims of genocide were given a decent burial. Later have lunch in a local restaurant before a drive to Musanze, Volcanoes National Park.

Gorilla Trek Experience

Arise early and have breakfast, then be transferred to the park’s headquarters, Office of Tourism in Kinigi where you are briefed by the park ranger about the rules and regulations governing Gorilla tracking before you head off to the jungle in search for these gentle giants. The gorilla trek can last from an hour to six hours depending on the gorilla’s movements and although the trek is strenuous it is rewarding at the end. You will be given an hour with the gorilla to take as many pictures and just enjoy watching them play. You will have picnic lunch and later trek back to start point and drive back to the lodge.

Volcanoes – Transfer to Kigali – Fly to Nairobi

Have early breakfast then depart for Kigali where you will take a late afternoon flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival at JKIA, be picked by our driver and dropped at city hotel.

Nairobi – Transfer to Maasai Mara (Approx. 5 hours)

You will be picked by our tour guide/driver from your Nairobi hotel at 6.30a.m. Depart for Mara immediately to arrive in time for lunch. Later have game drive at 3p.m. till 6p.m.

Maasai Mara – Full day

Spend these 2 days with full-day game drives in search of the big five and many other wildlife that inhabits these beautiful savannah plains. There will be picnic lunch on the banks of Mara River.

Maasai Mara – Full day

Maasai Mara – Transfer to Serengeti, by flight

Have breakfast then be transferred to the airstrip for a morning flight to arrive in Serengeti by noon. This flight is not direct and you will connect in Migori/Tarime. There is a short road transfer between the airstrips.

Serengeti – Full day

Spend this whole day with either a full-day game drive or morning and afternoon game drives.

Serengeti - Transfer to Ngorongoro. Approx. 3 hours

have early breakfast then depart for Ngorongoro Crater. You will visit the floor of the crater and have a short game drive and picnic lunch. Later drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Ngorongoro – Transfer to Kilimanjaro/Arusha, Approx. 4 hours - Zanzibar

Have breakfast then depart for Kilimanjaro or Arusha where you will take a flight to Zanzibar. Arrive in Zanzibar and be driven to beach hotel.
