Akagera National Park, Travel time +2 hours

This tour starts with a pick up from your Kigali hotel at 5a.m. and immediately head to Akagera National Park which is located in Eastern Rwanda on the border with Tanzania. Akagera the only savannah park in Rwanda and is well known for hosting Elephants, Giraffes, Hippos, Kobs, Zebras, Bushbucks, Waterbucks and number of bird species. If lucky you might also see the recently introduced lions. Arrive in the park and have a game drive for 4 – 5 hours. You will have picnic lunch during the day. Later drive back to Kigali to arrive early evening. Note – Covid-19, PCR test is mandatory to enter the park (costs $60 per person).
